excel exports text not numbers

Has anybody addressed the issue that excel exports from views (such as the resource planning view) provides most of the data points as text fields, which then need to be converted to numbers? Michael Crocken, PMP, MS Mech. Engr. Senior Team Leader, Project Management Whole Foods Market Austin, TX

Hi @Michael Crocken . If you go into text mode, you can change the format of the fields to be numbers only (i.e. without the 'hours' word) and in Excel you will see it as a number format. The below example is for the Planned Hours field: aggregator.displayformat=minutesAsHoursString aggregator.function=SUM aggregator.namekey=plannedhour.plural.abbr aggregator.valuefield=workRequired aggregator.valueformat=compound displayname=Planned Hours linkedname=direct namekey=work querysort=work textmode=true valuefield=work valueformat=doubleAsDouble David Cornwell
