Emoji - Symbol -- for Matrix reporting

Avatar

Level 9
Has anyone figured out a way to incorporate an emoji OR symbol used as an object in a dropdown within the custom field? Example - I'd like to add a field with a few different symbols that represent the current progress of a given project. As this team doesn't use the builtin progress indicators 😞 Thanks john JohnSeitz ESPN

If you copy HTML symbols from "https://www.w3schools.com/charsets/ref_utf_punctuation.asp">https://www.w3schools.com/charsets/ref_utf_punctuation.asp and paste them into your menus, I believe they'll render as symbols. There's a pretty good selection in w3schools.com.

Cool stuff! I ended up copying and pasting from the emoji's available in the update stream in WF, and that worked great: It even works in a filter: Adina

I've been using them with our PTO/vacation calendar for quite some time now - makes it more fun. Of course, you gotta choose the ones that appear on all browsers. "https://emojipedia.org/objects/">https://emojipedia.org/objects/ Polly Co

Thank you all! Great hints and suggestions - just trying to make the reports a tad more fun and for some groups less structured. Now I need to debug/figure out how I can leverage this under a Matrix report group.... JohnSeitz ESPN

Hi Sana, I went to the Updates tab within WF and picked my emoji, then copied it and pasted it into the value field on the form field.
