Creating Marketing Request Form - trouble with queues

Avatar

I am working to create a Marketing Request form using Project and then setting up Queue Topics and Topic Groups. I have Topic Groups of Microsite, Email and Print. The trouble is, I need someone to be able to select more than one item as a requester may need a microsite AND an email. But so far, when testing my current set-up, I can only select one or the other. I don't want requesters to fill out the form multiple times. I'm not sure how to fix this.

You can only submit something under one request type. If you want them to be able to request multiple things from one drop down, you would want to build this into your request custom form vs setting up different queue topics and groups.

If I do it that way, can I still route the microsites to the microsite team and the emails to the email team, etc.? I've been playing around with forms and I can't figure out how to route based on which boxes are checked.

Unfortunately no, you couldn't route them based on the custom form. You can only use routing rules on the queue topics.

If you convert your requests to projects you could use a template to convert the request to a project with default tasks and assignments to teams for the different pieces of the request and have them all live in one project.

Do you know if there is a tutorial on how to do that? I need to figure out how to make this work.
