Calculated Custom Field Help - How to show variance between Planned Completion and Actual Complete Date

Avatar

Hi All, Look for any suggestions. I would like to create a calculated custom field showing the variance (days late or days ahead) of project planned completion date vs actual completion date. I have tried created a custom field using this formula: SUB(Actual Completion Date,Planned Completion Date) and adding the custom form to the projects in question. I added the column to the report view but I cannot get the calculation to formulate. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong or how to get this report to work? found it: For the difference between Planned Date and Actual Completion Date, the formula would look like this. WEEKDAYDIFF( Planned Completion Date,Actual Completion Date ) Eric Roybal Director, Project Management One & All
