We’re looking for the best way to report out on our billability % last month by job role. Inputs into the calculation would be actual hours (timesheet data) divided by net capacity (a.k.a. available hours = normal schedule minus PTO)

Hi, we solve this by a business rule that defines that each employee has to timesheet a minimum norm-time. So any type of absences are tracked on a project as well as any internal tasks. We even have a "Time on the beach" project for anything you cannot account for. With that data we can simply report on a specific project custom field called "Billability".
