Do you ever audit templates or reports to remove ones that have become obsolete or ones that haven't been used in several years?

I invite you to consider our Health Checker solution, which (among many other business rules) can help you identify and archive (or delete) Templates and Queues Topics that are “Deadwood” (Red) vs “Rusty” (Yellow) vs “Healthy” (Green) on a % and row count basis.
