Actual Vs Planned dates in report creation

Avatar

Level 2
Hello! I am trying to create a report that will only populate tasks whose actual start date is later then the planned start date, and/or the actual completion date is later than the planned start date. Any suggestions? Thanks! Katherine Chatham

Hi Katherine One approach could be to use the "https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/articles/216636328-Understanding-Progress-Status-of-Tasks">Progress Status of Tasks feature and filter for any Tasks with a Progress Status of "Behind" or "Late". You can use conditional formatting to compare these dates in your report: https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/articles/222425988-Comparing-Fields-in-Conditional-Formatting Wayne Ellyson OH-DAS

Thanks for the suggestions, I'm not sure if those will work for this report. I'm trying to make more of a historical report, to show all tasks that were either started late, or finished later than expected. So I only want those items to pull into the report. Katherine Chatham

You should be able to filter on Start Date > Planned, Completion Date > Planned, etc... to get what you want. Wayne Ellyson OH-DAS
