Timeline Dates for Larger Projects Freezing Up

Question

We have been having issues with our larger projects (50-100 tasks) freezing up when we make small edits. All the dates will get greyed out after making a change. We are seeing timelines freeze up for over an hour sometimes which makes it very hard to make multiple updates and is slowing us down.

Hey @carrie_jean!

Not a "developer solve" to overcome the actual issue, but if you change your "Plan Mode" to "Manual Save" it would allow you to make multiple changes before prompting the system to save.

Plan mode can be found at the top right of your project screen.

We've had similar issues. We have very large comprehensive project plans. I've raised it to support multiple times and just get the same old answer of "expected" behavior or "clear you cache".

I've raised the issue to our sales rep too as it is a conversation we have regularly when renewals come up.
