In addition to the reports, calendars and some external links. It would be helpful to have a WYSIWYG editor/widget option within dashboards. This could be used to share important information with a team or explain more complex data shared within a dashboard.
Our specific use case is as follows:
Each of our teams has a dashboard that includes a PTO calendar, reports on the status of work in the current cycle, an external link to a document where we list out things like the cycles goals, risks and other team updates. Because dashboard does not have an editor like this, we have to open the document in another application to make changes. It would be more efficient to have an editor that could be updated on the fly. I believe this would also have other uses if were something that could be added, enhancing the usefulness of dashboards.
