Remove users from comment string

I would like the ability to remove tagged people on a chain if they are no longer needed to get updates.

I am glad to let you know that this functionality will be available with the new commenting stream we are working on. It's available on the issue object as a Beta in your Preview environment. It will be available in Production, again as a Beta with 23.2 release. 

Feel free to test and provide your feedback.

Reading the documentation and reviewing the video - is this on 'issue' updates only ? Not ALL updates, i.e. in projects @Anna_Asatryan

Yes, for now, the new commenting is enabled only for the issue object, but we will gradually expand it to other objects as well.

@Anna_Asatryan  Do you already have a release plan for the function in "Projects"? Once the function in "Issues" is completely ready and published? Or maybe sooner in a beta version?

Hi @sebastiendesautel , we won't be waiting for the full readiness of the commenting on the issue object and are targeting to release the new commenting on Projects as a beta with 23.3 release. So, stay tuned for the updates and feel free to provide your feedback when it's there.
