The ability to rearrange/reorganize my favorites would be nice. Currently, I would have to remove the favorite and then re-favorite it in order to get it to move up on the favorites list.
I kind of agree with this one...I would rather that Favorites be in alphabetical order by default, rather than in the order you added them. That's how it was in Classic, so NWE is a shock to the system and it makes it harder to find what Im looking for under favorites.
Jessica - would you consider editing this one to have it be in alphabetical order by default?
Classic organized favorites alphabetically. It was easier to find specific links. NWE favorites list is random. Selection to alphabetize or ability to organize would be very helpful.
We just converted to NWE and our users are complaining about the randomized favorites - not ideal - they should a minimum be sorted alpha numeric but the ability to re-arrange would be helpful too!
I would love to see the items in my Favorites list be shown in alphabeticalorder, as they do in Classic.
For example, my Favorited Reports should be in alphabetical order, favorited Dashboards in alphabetical order.
The current order (recency?) makes it difficult to find the specific item/link that I want.
Additionally, it could be helpful for the user to determine the order of the sections in the Favorites list. i.e. Reports, then Projects, then Dashboards, etc.
Upvote. This is a pretty critical flaw in my opinion. The Recents list make sense, but I always have the max of 40 favorites (would love to see that limit increased, btw) so to find a job means constantly clicking "View 10 more." This is a waste of time and alphabetizing makes 10000 times more sense. For Favorites, going back to the Classic view where all 40 were displayed at once, in alphanumeric order, would be the most prefered user experience.
Came here looking for this idea, so definite upvote! I'd also love to be able to rearrange the categories, so that I can move Dashboards to the top and things like Templates or Projects lower in the list.
Disconcerting that this hasn't been addressed for so long. The ability to rearrange favorites would be SO helpful. I don't use them right now because I can't move them around like I can with links pinned to the top. I'm not a programmer, but I wouldn't think it'd be that much effort!
