Make "Descriptive Text" in the custom form a color other than black

Having the descriptive text show in black makes it looks just like the text that exists elsewhere on the form. Often this text is used for instructions and having it the same color as form field answers is confusing and hard to read.

A simple option would work here as well. Either black or gray as a selection.

Even better would be to make this customizable. I like using it as a warning text for invalid combinations of choice fields. It would be nice to make this larger/bold/different colors/etc.

Description: This option has a 2 week turnaround.

Error: This is not a supported combination

Agreed. In the current UI, the text often runs together or is hard to parse. This is especially true for the descriptive text field, since it's just plain text with no other UI element. Descriptive text is often used for important notes and warnings, but users are unlikely to notice them without formatting.
