[CLOSED] - Attach Documents for Requester to Complete During Request Submission

This post has been closed as a duplicate. All votes have been moved to the original: Ability to put document attachment object in other areas of the custom form (not just in the default fields at the top)

I'd like the ability to have a document attached to a work queue, and the ability to put in some verbiage to explain that the requester needs to download, fill out, and attach the document when submitting the work request.

We sort of accomplished this, but it'd be great if there were some sort of way to really require an attachment. The workaround we use is upload your document to Workfront and set it as visible system wide. Then get the download link of that document and add it as the URL in a descriptive text field on your form. Add another descriptive text field for instructions.

Aye, we are doing the same, but linking it from a SharePoint URL. It would be nice to just be able to have it attached to the queue, similar to tasks, and if it tied into ProofHQ as well, that would be great...

We've used both SharePoint and Workfront URLs to link to these docs. I also agree, this would be a nice feature and easy to implement (I assume)!!!

Would love this feature!!!

We require a campaign brief to be filled out and attached to the request. However, getting the requestor to remember to fill it out and attach it to the request is a challenge. Simply providing instructions or links to where they can find it is not enough... we all know that people skim and are usually in a rush to submit and on to the next thing.

It would be great if it could somehow be a required action... like if the completed campaign brief is not attached, the request doesn't take - not sure if that is possible, but it sure would be nice... :)
