An ability to deactivate Queue Topics

There are legacy queue topics that should no longer be used but deleting them results in a loss of historical data from already-submitted requests.

The ability to deactivate queue topics will allow to toggle them off so that they no longer appear in the lists when submitting new requests to the same queue but will still preserve the queue topic data on the old requests.

Thank you for the submission! We think this is a good enhancement to the Workfront platform overall and this product area in particular!

Workfront currently prioritizes large-scale, foundational enhancements such as the new Reporting experience and changes to the core data model, so this item does not fit in our near-term roadmap. As such, I am marking this as Declined now, but we'll keep this in our backlog for the improvements for this area so that we can revisit the decision in the future.

This would be useful for us because we have queues that we only want visible three months of the year.  We have been deleting these queues each year and then making a new one the next year.  This is causing problems in reporting.  This also causes problems for fusion because each Queue Topic has it's own ID.  So when you delete it one year and start a new one the next year, it's a totally new ID.  Would be great to deactivate, and then use the same queue the following year.  You also can not move Queue Topics from one Request Queue to another (I tried this).
Anyways, deleting it causes problems, leaving it visible causes problems.  Deactivating would solve everything.

(I also upvoted the similar request from 2020 Ability to hide / deactivate Queue Topics and Topic Groups)
