Agile functionality improvements at a project level


Level 1


  1. Project burndown charts based off of effort estimates not hours. Workfront used to have them but they were only based off of hours.
  2. Having a project column that shows the effort complete of a task. This is a field that you update on the scrum board but is not a selectable column at the project level.
  3. Having a system that calculates project % complete based off of effort complete. For anyone using effort to estimate tasks and not task duration then the project % complete is never correct unless you have planned out every iteration for the entire project (which never happens).
  4. The ability to have a report (at task or project level) with a chart that allows completed effort (including tasks not yet complete) alongside actual hours assigned.
