Fusion - issue while searching for Workfront Planning records

Hi,

I am trying to search for records in Workfront planning - I have a table where one of the columns is a number field that contains either 100, 200, 300, or 400. Every time I run the search record module to get all records that have 400 as the value, I always get zero results. 

Is there any specific way to search records based on number fields?

I tried changing the filter condition - zero bundles regardless of the selection
I tried using just 400, and parseNumber(400:,) - also zero bundles

There is data for that filter condition, so I am at a loss as to why I can't get the search to work. 

Any help would be appreciated

This is really frustrating and I'd like to voice some support because I actually experienced this issue and had to open a ticket with Adobe Support for it.

You are not alone. 

The search function on the Planning Modules Suck big time in my honest opinion, and I've let Adobe Fusion Support know this. Please voice your complaint about this.  To help support your case, I built a quick and simple record type with 3 records, one number field ...

Performed a search on the Numbers field with $is 400 in a module ... 

Which should have returned 2 bundles based on the above record type, and record type filter, but returned 0 in fusion.

Ya, that's really annoying and unsure why something as simple as "Search" doesn't work as advertised, especially when searching directly in the record type works just fine - 

A possible alternative would be to go the API Route (but I digress, we should not have to do this, it's kind of silly) or using a filter like this (with no search parameter if this fits your requirements and your data, all module payload return limits considered)

It is indeed frustrating. My workaround was to create a text field and copy the values from the numerical field there. Now I am able to filter by those values, but this just feels like jumping through hoops to accomplish something as trivial as a simple search by number.

I will be opening a support ticket for sure. Thanks for your reply and insight

Even with your solution, I think you should submit a case to add to this topic and promote awareness that the Planning Search Module in Fusion is just not that great.
