Deleting an 'Update' Record, what am I missing?

Avatar

It seems like it should be straightforward, but I can't seem to find the right combination of modules to do this. I have several different projects with updates (comments) containing specific keywords that I'd like to delete. Any suggestions to do this? I'm a sys admin, so access level shouldn't be an issue.

I think this would do it?

*should* be straight forward:

  • search for the updates you want
  • for each, deleteRecord

The deleting is easy - focus on the search first. Do you have the right query parameters to get the expected list of updates?

@Sven-iX I may not be building my Search Module correctly.

This is what I'm searching for:

Updates added between two dates (e.g. 03-24-2025 – 03-27-2025)

Comment contains the text "was deleted"

Update(s) posted by one specific (user) ID

***Each project may contain more than one update that meets this criteria or may not contain one at all.

Thanks!
