Re: Understand where segments and calculated metrics are used – to clean up without breaking anything jchuck5612 - Adobe Analytics
This is common sense. Admin's are hamstrung without this ability. Please make-it so.

Re: Can I switch environments for Launch using the developer console like I did in DTM? jchuck5612 - Adobe Experience Platform Launch
Not having environment support for Edge and FF is a really big problem. Most of us need to QA in Chrome, FF, Safari, and Microsoft. We at least need a console command to switch environments.I just needed to make this exclusion based on some errors affecting our clients. The four browsers I needed to exclude were 55% of all my traffic and I have no officially supported way to investigate if my fix works.

I tried this 19x before I realized it didn't work. Still do it from time to time to see if the functionality is live.

Leverage eVar's in Real-Time Reports jchuck5612 - Adobe Analytics
With the push to remove complexity out of tagging, reporting and analysis I would like to see eVar support inside of the real time reports and API.For those of us that want to use the realtime reports we are forced to leverage props. But we do not want to use both props and evars for the same data (too confusing for end users!).I propose that the support for evars works exactly how the prop support works. Whatever data is on the hit should be available in real-time and we leave persistence of da...

Re: Header text wrapping should be turned on by default jchuck5612 - Adobe Analytics
Thanks Jen! Yes. Default to auto-wrap.Then give users the ability to override the wrapping or rename the heading (maybe renaming is a stretch but it would be an added bonus).

Could you call s.clearVars() in the rule or set s.eVarXX = ''?

Re: Page Load Speed Should Be A Default Metric jchuck5612 - Adobe Analytics
I'm using the plug-in. Not seeing a ton of value yet. Anyone have relevant examples where they get some insight? FWIW - I implemented it as specified so I have all 10+ grains of timing. That also seems like overkill to me and this is coming from a devOps former life.

Seems weird. Is the evar expiration = session? Also is the data element in DTM set to page view?

Re: Visit count spikes when using s.tl for campaign tracking jchuck5612 - Adobe Analytics
Can you see the requests going to your tracking server if you use the developer tools built into the browser? If so you should look for the s_vi or Marketing Cloud Visitor ID value getting sent from the custom link server call vs. the page load call.

Can add List Vars in the Report Suite Column Selectors jchuck5612 - Adobe Analytics
Currently we cannot add list var settings as column selections on the Report Suites page in Admin. I would love that to be enabled! It would be awesome to have the Customize Columns (top right) have List Vars as an option when filtering Report Suites.

Re: Visit count spikes when using s.tl for campaign tracking jchuck5612 - Adobe Analytics
Hi mforemanmc,I suspect what's happening is that you're getting more 'visits' because you're firing a beacon call from another domain. You could look in the server report and see if that domain's traffic amounts to the increase in your visits/uniques. I would suggest that in Everage instead of calling s.tl you use that script to set a cookie for your campaign/experience and then scrape that cookie value into your normal page level tracking.

Re: [DTM] Measure Page Load time jchuck5612 - Dynamic Tag Management
I agree with the don't measure DTM from DTM side. Use a RUM or similar tool for measuring page load. However, giving us an easy way to pull a page load time into analytics can help us figure out what page load times convert client's relative to other page load times as seen by DTM.

Re: GetPageName Plugin using DTM jchuck5612 - Dynamic Tag Management
Hi Sanmeet,I ran into the same issue but it wasn't related to DTM. It was related to upgrading from H.25 code to AppMeasurment.js. A function that getPageName() relies on was removed in AppMeasurement.js. The code below should help you get the plugin working again if you still need it. the JavaScript below was provided to me by Adobe Support. To use this, just paste it directly after " function s_doPlugins(s) { " s.wd=window; s.fl=new Function("x","l","" +"return x?(''+x).substring(0,l):x"); s.pt...
