Ability to create Workspace Projects via an API omni-man - Experience Cloud Community Feedback
It would be great if there were a way to programmatically create new Workspace projects off of a template using an API. The idea would be to have a template that you have and then use the API to tell Workspace which metrics, dimensions, segments and items should be used within the template. This feature would help create best practice Workspace projects for users and save a lot of time...

Ability to view in which components a variable or component is used omni-man - Experience Cloud Community Feedback
Note: I am not sure if this exists as an idea already. There are many cases in which you want to remove an eVar, sProp, calculated metric or a segment, but you are not sure where it is being used. For example, if you want to remove an sProp from your implementation, there is no great way to see which components are currently using the sProp and which Workspace Dashboards are dependent upon it. It would be great if there were an automatic way to see what is dependent upon what so you can more easi...

Linked Segments/Dimensions in Workspace omni-man - Adobe Analytics
If you have a Workspace project that uses the same segment/dimension in multiple dropdown areas or within visualizations itself (i.e. Columns in a Freeform table), it would be cool if you could choose to manually "link" them such that if you change one, any "linked" versions of that would also change. For example, let's say that you have many visualizations in a project and you have chosen to filter based upon Page = Home via a dimension. Now you want to change the focus page from Home Page to Ca...

Freeze Panes - Segments & Calc Metrics omni-man - Adobe Analytics
Often times when I am building segments and calculated metrics, it would be helpful to be able to freeze the top portion of the builder window so I don't' have to keep scrolling up and down. For example, when building a segment, as you change the segment definition, it is nice to be able to see the impact at the top-right on the segment potential audience. Unfortunately, today, you have to make a change and then scroll. The same is true for large calculated metrics where you cannot see the top p...

Ability to manually group rows of data in Analysis Workspace omni-man - Adobe Analytics
I think it would be super-cool if users could use SHIFT or CTRL to select rows in Analysis Workspace and temporarily see them grouped together and with metrics for the grouped rows summed. Today, you have to leave what you are doing and either build a segment or create a SAINT Classification. This stops the flow of doing analysis. For example, let's say that I am looking at a Freeform Table with Day of Year as the dimension. What if I wanted to group the first 7 rows and see the data aggregated. ...

Re: Allow for customized variable identifiers omni-man - Adobe Analytics
The issue is that the Admin console is where people go to select all of their report suites and maintain the variable names and settings. I guess you could use an Excel spreadsheet to document all of your context variables and hope everyone does it correctly across all report suites, but the beauty of the admin console is that it shows a MULTIPLE warning if any suites are inconsistent. I love that, but it only works if you stick to the event1, event2 model. As you know, that model stinks if you ...

Allow for customized variable identifiers omni-man - Adobe Analytics
It would be great if Adobe Analytics allowed customers to identify variables in the Admin console as they wish instead of having to use "event1" or "event2"If users could pick their own names, they could more easily make implementations align across multiple report suites instead of having to worry about pre-defined variable slots for events, eVars and sProps. For example, if you defined internal searches as event.internalsearch, you could make that consistent in all implementations vs. having to...

Re: Share your Analytics Blogs and Articles omni-man - Adobe Analytics
Scatter Plots in Analysis WorkspaceLast week, I wrote about how to use the new Venn Diagram visualization in Analysis Workspace. Now I will discuss another new Analysis Workspace visualization – the Scatter Plot. This visualization should be familiar to those in the field and has been available in Microsoft Excel for years. The purpose of the scatter plot is to show two (or three) data points on an x/y axis so that you can visualize the differences between them. In this post, I will continue usi...

Re: Creating segment of users based on event and time omni-man - Adobe Analytics
You can do this two different ways: 1. You can set a Date eVar on each visit and then segment on that 2. You can create a Cohort Analysis in Analysis Workspace and right-click on the cell of the cohort you want and build a segment off of thatAdam Greco

Re: How do I view the path up to a success event? omni-man - Adobe Analytics
One way to see this is to use Participation to see which pages are leading to Checkouts. If you are looking for true pathing, you'd have to use the Previous Page Flow report and Ad Hoc Analysis. A better approach might be to take pathing up a level and put pages into functional Page Types and look at the Page Types that head to Checkouts and then when you see a large path sequence between a Page Type to Checkout, you can dive deeper into the pages between those two nodes.
