Hi All,I created some PDF forms in livecycle pre ES4. I understand they can now be used on Android and I-pad by being veiwed through HTML 5? I'm a single livecycle user with just my home PC. Can I set myself up so my forms can be veiwed in this way or this set up really for larger businesses with a proper network of PC's set up?ThanksPS I did post this in the mobile section but looking at the topics it seems a little slow down there!!

They are set to display that way already and are not set for OS as it's source. In Object-Field-Locale they are set to 'Default Locale'-English United Kingdom.I might try setting the display pattern and e-mailing that to the Linux guy and see what happens.

Hi,I've created some forms in Livecycle. In these forms there date fields. All set to display in the English format i.e 21/02/2013 or 21 Feb 2013. I've no reported problems until know. Someone is using them on Linux and has reported that the date fields are appearing in the US type format as can be seen hereI've tried to get my fields to do same in Windows just to see if can find out what's going on but they always display in the format I set which is in English. Could it be a Linux thing? The f...

I've created some forms that have a blue back ground in the objects I've inserted in it. However I want to give people using a choice of colours. I've played with using a button but can't get it to work how I want. I've included a link to one of my documents so you can se what I want to change. Basically I want to be able to change everything that's in blue. I'd like to add a few buttons to give people a choice of backgrounds. If I do this using actions as I said I can't get it to work (it chang...

Hi,thanks for the reply. Yep that's part way there. That shows the' click in the box and the list appears'. Still leaves the button though. Is there anyway to achieve the dropdown list without the button? Clicking in the field to display the list negates the use of the button so it's not really needed.

Hi,when using a dropdown list is it possible to do it without the button? So you just click in the box and the list appears or better still hover and the list appears. The reason I ask is i have some dropdown boxes that aren't very wide so the button obscures you choices and looks untidy. Also any list over 7 entries long ends up with the scroll bar at the side of the list. Is there any way to increase the amount of entries you can have before the scroll bar appears. Thanks in advance for any hel...

Hi. I've created some electrical certificates/reports in Livecycle. However their use dictates that sometimes more data (test results) needs to be entered than there are result sheets. I have created extra sheets which can be filled and printed along with the original form and then added together. My question is can this be done when editing the form as a PDF? I think I already know the answer is no but just in case someone knows different thought I'd ask. If pages can't be inserted can the test...

Hi, Hoping this is a simple answer. I have a form whcih has 7 pages the first 6 are portrait but I want the seventh to be landscape. How do I acheive this? At the moment I have created a second master page that is landscape but can't see how to assign to an inserted apge in design view. I'm currently just building the form onto the master page as I can't do what I want.

Just tried it in my form. It looks the nuts. Feel really sad that I'm getting this excited about a PDF form though.

How do I attach a PDF to a reply? I have found a drop down box with a tick (stolen from another form). Would like to know how it's been done.

Hi SteveThanks for the reply. I'll have a play around with your suggestion. Never used radio buttons. I assume all the options have to be displayed all of the time on the document? I've attached my word version of what I'm trying to create so it's clear exactly what I'm after. Thanks againPaul

Hi,newbie to LiveCycle. I'm currently using it design Electrical Certificates from the IEE Regs book. The problem I have is on one form I require a drop down box. The options I want are a tick, a cross, LIM or N/A. The N/A and LIM are ok as they are obviously just letters. Is there anyway I can insert the cross and tick symbol into a drop down box? Or is there something else other than the dropdown box I should be using? Thanks In advance for any helpPaul.
