Betreff: Text Object with an Email Address AUTOMATICALLY... - Adobe LiveCycle 10-09-2020
Well I'd totally agree with you about that, BUT...I'm using the 'Preview PDF' mode IN LiveCycle where it's showing the text object with an email address as a link. It'll do it in Acrobat as well. Mind you, I didn't manually insert a hyperlink for the email address soooooo, why it's doing that? I have NO Idea!

Text Object with an Email Address AUTOMATICALLY adding Hyperlink when put into a Table???? - Adobe LiveCycle 09-09-2020
Greetings fellow LiveCycle users, I hope all is well. Ok, so I've hit a 'snag' in LiveCycle with something that I'm trying to 'fix' that I'm sure shouldn't be this trivial. I have a pretty basic, static PDF form that has a table with 1 row and a few columns. I have a text object (not field) nested in a subform, nested in one of the cells. I have what I want to be an email address that IS NOT linked, but only gives the appearance of such on the form. I've tried everything I can think of but for s...

Sudden 'Unknown Bravo Error' messages and LiveCycle performance issues - Adobe LiveCycle 07-08-2018
So, I work in a corporate setting and have LiveCycle on my machine to create the occasional Dynamic form, and up until about 2 weeks ago a particular form that I've been working on, 'on and off' for months now has just started giving me the most frustrating issues. I'm getting the 'Unknown Bravo Error' message shortly after opening the form and trying to apply or modify existing scripts in the document. I could see if the issue was just suddenly isolated to this version of the form, but what's c...

Re: Adding instances of a row based on a number - Adobe LiveCycle 03-05-2018
MinusZero,Hey there, how are you doing? Thanks again for sharing your insight and scripting examples. I've taken your advice and renamed the repeating row, to keep from causing any issues due to naming. However, I'm only having luck with the script when I remove the initial 'switch' argument...figured I'd try to troubleshoot segments of the code. Is it possible that it 'can't find' the NoAccts field as the script is currently written, in order to pull the raw value from to execute properly? Than...

Re: Adding instances of a row based on a number - Adobe LiveCycle 03-05-2018
Bruce,Hey there, and thanks for chiming in to assist me. Short of maintaining the layout of those two fields in the repeating row ('Account Number' and 'Store Locations,' grouped together and flowing with western text, left to right), I don't know how you'd do that without a subform element. Any suggestions? Thank-you.

Re: Adding instances of a row based on a number - Adobe LiveCycle 02-05-2018
MinusZero,Hello there, and thank-you for reaching out to me with some insight as to how I should attempt to approach this. I made an attempt to apply your script 'as-is,' and tried tweaking it to fit the layout (structure of my table, rows and subforms) of my form as well, but I didn't have any luck with getting it to work properly. I'm convinced it is because there's a discrepancy between how my form is structured, in comparison to how your scripts are written to work(?). I have attached some m...

Adding instances of a row based on a number - Adobe LiveCycle 29-04-2018
So I'm trying to properly script (using Javascript) one (or both if possible) of the below scenarios where the user can either enter a numeric value (up to 10, in the 'Number of Accounts' field), and that amount of instances of the follow row (of 'Account Number' and 'Store/Locations') would populate accordingly. I'm a novice to intermediate (and only occasional) user of JavaScript and am having trouble trying to determine how to script this. I'd appreciate any scripting advice including example...
