Hi guys,In my project we are using AEM 6.2 and I know that regardless if exist a limit of nodes under the same folder/path there is a recommendation on the number of nodes, mostly related to nodes with sling:OrderedFolder. In this case, I have a requirement to create 2000 cq:Pages under the same path for example : /content/site/en/solutions. However, I want to separate the content in different groups for instance:/content/site/en/solutions/cloud/.../content/site/en/solutions/servers/.../content/s...

Hi Veena, Actually in AEM 6.2 the issue is reproducible. On the tags that we have, I can not send to you for business restrictions, but the all the tags follows this pattern:TagID:project:id/id/id ...e.g:-aem:34513/12345We do not have repeated tagIDs persisted, so I really do not know why this issue ocurred.Any help will be appreciated. That's why I disable the Tag Validation Listener in order to not loss the tags persisted like page properties. Thanks,Julian

See, I could not find the issue with the tags. I examined all tags and they were correctly persisted in AEM. So, my workaround was to disable the Tag Validation through the OSGi configuration manager.Just uncheck the Enable Validation field. The name of the service is Day CQ Tagging Service. It seems that the observation listener attached to tags is deleting the tags after is persisted. But, I could not find the issue with my tags so I disable the listener. That's all I do.Julian

Hello guys,I wonder if AEM 6.2 supports an OOTB feature or component that retrieves content from a container (can be a folder in AEM), could be with ACS commons, that I can use to show in a page this content but in a dynamically way. So, if the source content change (can be an asset, page content, media) the page where this "component" is added will be updated also. Also, we have a scenario where content resides outside of AEM, so this is more tricky, but maybe do you know a way to do this OOTB i...

Thank very much Ankur, It was very helpful, I re-save again that JSP file and now is working correctly, maybe was because the JSP was not compiled correctly at the first time, I do not know, is my guess.Let me know your thoughts on this just to be sure. Thanks!

Hello Ankur sial, I just validated and for "Create new project" and "Add to existing project" I am also seeing all the target languages. Can you please provide me instructions about how to validate if an custom overlay exist in the environment for this AEM 6.2 instance?, I know that in our project we migrate to AEM 6.2 from AEM 6.1, so this can be the cause. Also, do you know what service o servlet are retrieving the target languages in the dropdownlist ?Thank you very much!

Hello Ankur sial, thank you for your answer. I verified and validated that the languages root exists in my AEM instance according to this guide:https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-2/administer/sites/translation/tc-prep.html#par_titleI have the languages already created with the name property in ISO format (en, fr, es, etc) however, anyway I am seeing all languages in the target languages and not only the language which root language exist.I wonder if I need to install a hotfix or a service pack...

Nowadays in AEM 6.2, I found the way to create a metadata schema editor for Touch UI. This metadata schema is created under /conf/global/settings/dam/adminui-extension/metadataschema and until now works perfect, also we can apply this custom properties for only to a DAM folder that author can select. However, we have a requirement to apply these changes in Classic UI, so I know that the asset editor by default in AEM exists under "/libs/dam/content/asseteditors". So we overlayed that path into th...

I figured out that if I deactivate this service Day CQ Tagging Service. The cq:tags property are correctly saved in JCR and works fine, maybe this service is called in TagValidatingEventListener and what is the propouse of this service? is good idea inactivate it ? I am wondering if maybe we have built the tags in the wrong way, however I tried with the geometrixx tags and are not persisted. Please let me know any thoughts on this.Regards

Can you give me what is needed to have a valid tag in AEM 6.2 (I attached an image with all the properties that we have for tags)And my concern is that I think the tags are valid because in the Tags/Keywords field (page properties) I can see all the tags with the correct structure, maybe is something with the TagValidatingEventListener. Is good idea deactivate this component ? Thanks!

Hello! guysIn the project that I am working on, I noticed that the property of "cq:tags" (OOTB in AEM) in pages is not working as expected. After save the dialog (page properties) it seems that a POST request is sent to the jcr:content node of the page with the value selected but then seems that a listener or something in the core of AEM is trying to delete the value on this property. I figured out in the log and found this: *INFO* [sling-oak-observation-552] com.day.cq.tagging.impl.TagValidatin...

Hello, I tried another scenario to get an idea about the issue that I am facing. And when I do a forward to a image or text URL e.g: en-us/folder1/folder2/test.jpg . I get an "You don't have permission to access to this page. Please contact the Administrator" message, so I wonder if maybe there is something else that is executing before my custom filter. I tried putting a breakpoint and debugging but after the call to dispatch.forward(slingRequest, slingResponse);I get always the same error.

Hello!I am working in a feature about Sling Filters in AEM. I have to intercept a specific URL in AEM, e.g /en-us/abc/folder1 and without modify that URL, forward an asset URL from the DAM folder. The asset exist in the DAM folder at this location: /content/dam/myApp/test.pdf. So here is an approach of this implementation: public void doFilter(ServletRequest request, ServletResponse response, FilterChain chain) throws IOException, ServletException { if (!(request instanceof SlingHttpServletReque...
