I have created a from in LiveCycle ES. It is a dynamic form with
expandable fields. One field is a report body field that is a text field
that is set to flow. It works good however when the form expands to 15
or more pages it really begins to lag. You can type and then you have to
wait for the text to catch up. The same goes for edits in the report. If
you try to delete a section you have to wait for the reader to catch up
with the commands. Is there a known solution for this issue? Thanks,Shane
I have created a dynamic form with a duplicating table. The table auto
calculates the number as you add a row and remove a row. All looks fine
in LiveCycle ES. When I open the form in Acrobat 9 so I can extend the
prevlidges (save content on the document etc) and then open in reader X
it is generating the first dynamic table twice initially. I only want it
to display the table one initially and then add them as you click add
row etc..Any ideas on why it is creating the table twice initially when...
Thanks for your reply. It put me on the right path to my solution.I
accomplished what I wanted to do with the below javacode in the click
field. I was in a subform so I needed the extra
I have created a dynamic form. In this form I have a table that
duplicates. The first field is a number field that auto generates the
number as you add a new row (1,2,3...etc). I have added the jave to
recalculate the number field when you delete a row to keep the numbers
in order. On each duplicated table there is an add and delete row. Every
thing seems to function as desired except with the deleting of a row. If
I have 5 rows and I wish to delete row number 3 it will delete the row
above it (...
The above worked great and is I believe half of my solution. When I
added the script to my numeric field and then tried to preview the form
it would give me an error. I believed it was due to the fact that I have
a single talble and in each cell I have created a positioned subform and
placed two fields in each cell. I did this because I could not find a
way to replicate a two row table at the same time. When I tried it would
repeat each row but not keep them positioned (row 1 on top of row 2).
I have created a dynamic form in LiveCycle ES Designer. It has a dynamic
table and a dynamic text field. The table has a single row with 6 cells.
Inside of each cell I have created sub forms and then placed various
boxes (text, drop downs, etc). I have created an add and remove button
to replicate the table if another one is needed. In my table in the first
cell I have a drop down field currently that goes from 1 to 75. When you
click on the add row button and it replicates another row I would li...
I have created a form in LiveCycle ES. I would like for my employees to
answer the questions and then email me (via button I have on the form).
All of this works correctly and the email arrives as a .xml file. I now
need to inport this into a spreedsheet. I have done this with Achrobat
Pro however it just imports the name of the .xm. file as the first line
in the spreadsheet. I need all of the fields in the form represented.
Can anyone assist or point me in the direction I need to research how t...
Diego-Silva, Thank you so much for your posts. Your advice put me on the
path to discovering my solution. My form is fully funstioning now. It
could use some tweaks to improve it but it is at least in a functioning
state for now. One thing that I would like to change though is I created
a table with a single row and six columns. In each column in that row I
created a subform that is positioned. In each column I placed two
standard fields (text, drop down list...etc). I did it this way because
Ok with your advise I have all but one feature fixed. At the end of my
form a I have a second single row table with drop down fields, text
fields etc in the columns. I have added a button just like I have for
the first expandable table (that one works fine. I can add and delete
rows from it). My parent document is set to flowed. The java script I
have used for the second table add row button is
Table2._Row1.addinstance(1);This table is set on the parent document and
is not in a subform. There are...
