Update for anyone else that might run into this problem:I needed to recompile my custom workspace with a newer version of the workspace_runtime.swc file.  The proxy works fine now.~Josh

Stopping the scheduler service and event management components in workbench and then restarting them fixed my workspace problem.

Scheduler service was running and a simple 2 step long lived process with a 2 minute wait service ran both steps.  Thanks for the idea though Jon!~Josh
