Custom index for DAM expiry job to not exceed memory limit

We are operating on a large repository. I see this warning message re-occurring and am concerned the expired assets are not fully listed to the authors. Is there an index which can be used or created to solve this?com.day.cq.dam.core.impl.ExpiryNotificationJobImpl] org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.query.FilterIterators The query read more than 500000 nodes in memory.

So the presentation describes that the min:gcc is built into AEM 6.2. When I fired up my 6.3 environment and looked at Library Manager it still is using min:yui. Is this an oversight or a preferred default for migrated systems?

Use 7-Zip to add to the archive. It has been my experience with other 'jar' archives that Windows or other 'zip' technologies can change the file signatures. 7-Zip has always allowed me to add things without breaking the archive. Please post your result if you use 7-zip.By the way, if you repackage with 'jar' and use '-cvMf', you must use a capital 'M' to preserve existing META-INF. The small 'm' means something else....

This is your SAML token is not configured correctly. However you configured the SAML OSGi configuration is not right. The first two lines are the same as my original post, which are okay to ignore, but the third line says your token is not right. That is a bit too detailed and far down for any advice from myself. Check your SAML configuration settings and try other tweaks and settings according to documentation, otherwise you will need to request support.

Clarification from a peer review: it does inline the blob store with the documented .config setting. My misinterpretations was to see the additional directories in the /repository folder. Question will be is it safe to delete the extra directories...blobids, datastore?"SegmentNodeStoreBuilder{blobStore=inline}" with the .config file customBlobStore=B"false" observed in error.log.SegmentNodeStoreBuilder{blobStore=DataStorebacked BlobStore [org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.plugins.blob.datastore.OakFileD...

I would suggest you make a small modification to the stop.bat file so that it removes the conf/cq.pid even on a successful ERRORLEVEL return code. Then, have your backup script detect the presence of conf/cq.pid (is removed) before starting the backup function using whatever method you are using. Put a timer loop in the backup script detection of the cq.pid file and fail out after some unusual amount of time (say 10-15 minutes) so that if the cq.pid file is never removed you get some message/err...

Depending on the operating system too, you might require a restart of the OS as well as the AEM instance maintenance. A little info from the Red Hat site:On Linux or Unix systems, deleting a file via rm or through a file manager application will unlink the file from the file system's directory structure; however, if the file is still open (in use by a running process) it will still be accessible to this process and will continue to occupy space on disk. Therefore such processes may need to be re...

Thanks for documentation follow-up.The "why" for this activity is to do a 1-to-1 migration for the tarmk segment store between versions (6.1 -> 6.3) before splitting or introducing additional complexities for blob or custom data stores. I see and understand the "why" for the default splitting of the node/segment/blob stores by re-reviewing the Gems presentation, but for larger repositories we want to be sure things work as they did and then advance the configuration to leverage the new features.

Hi Forum,We are interested in initializing the repository in AEM 6.3 to be the same as the configuration for AEM 6.1 to the extent that it uses the new 6.3 Oak version and retains utilizing only the tarmk node, blob, and document store.I've run into issues trying to disable the default repository initialization. I wonder if others on the forum have experienced these issues or whether there are some details that I need to address them? ie. make sure you do X,Y,Z, or maybe be sure you verify this ...

No stack trace or exception. It is queued and blocked. It occurs in too many places to send a simple section of the error.log. Want to avoid lost transactions or repository corruptions.I will venture to increase logging on that package/class (org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.jcr.delegate.SessionDelegate) to get more detail around the source of the message. Can you please suggest most helpful package(s) and level(s) specification for the logging?Bob
