So what about all other customers?.. there is nothing mentioned on the adobe service pack release page. So we all should run against this problem and then ask a hotfix package from Support?..

Or have a base property where you can inherit from! So that you don't have to change 96 launch properties when you have to change a rule

Cool! Is this also a voted feature request somewhere so that I could follow the progress a bit there? Or on github maybe

What about making a sort of abstract property? That way you could easily share common rules without having to change them everywhere after were copied

Thanks Brandon!Could you maybe also tell me what the actual integration does? Does it import the js files into AEM or does it still write out the CND urlThanks,Roy

I was wondering if it is possible to share data elements and rules between properties? What would be the guideline on choosing when to set up a new property and when to actually manipulate the report suite with some custom code on the same property?

We would like to track vanity url usage through analytics. One possible solution that we see is to add the vanity url as query parameter to the resulting url. So for example https://www.my-site.com/my-vanity-url becomes https://www.my-site.com/my/real/page.html?s_url=/my-vanity-urlIs this feasible? What API's could be used to add the vanity url as query parameter to the response. Or is there a better solution?

Yes of course, if you want I can give you the entire class? This is the new way of adding properties, please read the blog of Carsten Ziegler: http://blog.osoco.de/2015/08/osgi-components-simply-simple-part-i/package my.testpackage; import com.adobe.granite.maintenance.MaintenanceConstants; import com.day.cq.wcm.api.Page; import org.apache.sling.api.resource.Resource; import org.apache.sling.api.resource.ResourceResolver; import org.apache.sling.event.jobs.Job; import org.apache.sling.event.jobs...

Hey all,I have created a custom maintenance task by using the following class. I can add the task in the maintenance page, but the "configure" icon is missing. It only shows the start icon. Any clue on what I am missing? Thanks!Roy @Component( property = { MaintenanceConstants.PROPERTY_TASK_NAME + "=" + "FullIndexerTask", MaintenanceConstants.PROPERTY_TASK_TITLE + "=" + "Full Indexer", JobExecutor.PROPERTY_TOPICS + "=" + MaintenanceConstants.TASK_TOPIC_PREFIX + "FullIndexerTask" } ) @Designate(oc...

Hey Scott,The problem is not having an example, I have an example, as even stated in my question:https://github.com/Adobe-Marketing-Cloud/aem-admin-extension-new-consoleCan you maybe re read my question? The question is on how to make the page in granite ui, without remaking the entire nav tools on the left and the top navigation on the top. I want to just include them from another place. Thanks!Roy

Hey Kautuk,This is not related to what I asked... The vanity tool is not built using granite ui, it is just a jsp file instead of real granite ui components. Sure, it gets inserted in the "/libs/cq/core/content/nav/tools". But it does not use the granite ui resource types to build it's page.Greetings,Roy

Hello all,I want to create a tool page in granite ui that will come somewhere under Tools > MyToolPage in the nav bar. I understand the whole process of creating cq:Page nodes which have the entire content made up out of granite ui components that will form the page. My question though is if it is possible to make a tool page that already has the entire layout of the AEM Touch UI and you just define the "body" nodes. To further clarify, following example demo is made by adobe: https://github.com...
