Hi laetizia_w,How about you try using eVar instances in segment? If it meets your requirement, it can be used in data warehouse.Additionally, here is a document on what segment features are compatible in DW: Data Warehouse Segment Compatibility See if this helps.Regards,Kanika

Re: Tracking ending of background usage through operating system kanikas19907318 - Adobe Analytics
Hi laetizia_wAdobe would be able to track any data if a server call is sent.- If you send analytics server calls from background, then there is a 'cp' parameter in hits which tells whether the app is in foreground or background. In workspace, its known as 'Hit Type' dimension- You'll have to apply a custom logic to know the difference then this 'cp' param changes its value from background to foreground. Send this time difference as context data - map it with event. You can check this event in re...

Re: Order vs Leads when to use the purchase event kanikas19907318 - Adobe Analytics
Hi asivem89678369Future data recommendation- In your implementation, ensure that 'purchase' event is not set when users are directed to a lead form. This will prevent invalid/polluted orders, revenue be be credited to actual conversion.- If you want to convert a lead form to an actual purchase offline, you can choose to go for Transaction Id data source. For this you need to send a transaction id in online hit(when user is redirected to lead form). Use the same transaction id in offline data sou...

Re: What does the SAINT import 'getCompatibilityElements' actually check? kanikas19907318 - Adobe Analytics
Hi ehurley1. The eVar should have classification structure defined. You can check it from analytics > admin > Report Suites > edit settings> conversion> conversion classification- You've to ensure the eVar you're classifying via API has classifications defined- Ensure that number of classification headers you specify in API requests matches with the columns you have defined for that eVar.- Ensure the user importing data has access to that eVar2. An eVar would be compatible if the classifications...

Re: TransactionID Duplication Issue kanikas19907318 - Adobe Analytics
Hi akshaya50588739It would be worth to check:- Allocation of your eVar127- From clickstream data feed , can you check the visitorID for this transaction ID - you can verify it from post_visid_high, post_visid_low columns. The reason to double check visitor id is because there are chances that against your different guest email, same visitor cookie was created and hence Adobe considered it to be same visitor. What if after making the transaction, user continued the same visit(came within 30 mins v...

Re: Custom events inflating page visits? kanikas19907318 - Adobe Analytics
Hi clairea39507456,The logic is if its the same visitor ID , then a new visit won't start unless the user goes inactive for more than 30 mins. There are other criterias for starting a new visit listed here: Visit On your web site, when you expand the content -> it calls analytics script -> fires analytics server call. If the visitor ID is same , then it should be the same visit. Here are few ways for you to check:1. Check the visitor ID in your server calls before & after you expand the content. ...

Re: Does Adobe Analytics send beacons only when Cookies are enabled ? kanikas19907318 - Adobe Analytics
Hi Chetan,Adobe analytics hit is captured irrespective of the cookie support. The "k" query parameter in server call indicates cookie support. Reference: https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/sc/implement/query_parameters.htmlIts standard. System checks to see if the session cookie (s_cc) is set before the request is sent. It has 3 values Y'=yes(Enabled) ,'N'=no(Disabled) , 'U'=unknown Hope this helps.

Re: Marketing Channels problem kanikas19907318 - Adobe Analytics
Click-throughs or Last touch channel instances metric means the number of times channel value is set(not persisted). Its a way to measure exact number of times user comes from a specific channel. It bypasses the overriding configuration meaning an overriding channel can get the visit credit but not the click-through. For example: Consider Paid ,Natural Search are overriding channels but Direct is non-overriding channelVisit 1 :: Paid Search >> Web site Page A >> Page B >> Page CVisit 2 : Natural...

Re: Extract same analytics data for multiple report suite IDs kanikas19907318 - Adobe Analytics
Hi pavans16530733API makes it easy where in you can use a dynamic variable for report suite. If you don't want to go for API approach, you can try using Report builder excel add-in. - Create a request with required dimensions/metrics- Copy the request and edit the report suite for it. Here are some helpful articles:https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/arb/t_create_a_data_request.htmlhttps://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/arb/copy_requests.html

Re: Marketing Channels problem kanikas19907318 - Adobe Analytics
Hi marion33678522The marketing channels do persist for a visit. However the marketing channel rules are executed on every hit. If a new channel is identified in any other hit of the same visit, it'll override the previous channel value based on Last touch channel overriding configuration.Hence there can be multiple marketing channels for a single visit. For example:A visitor comes from Paid Search >> Your web site Page 1 >> Page 2 -- closes the browser -- comes back within 30 mins >> Natural Sear...

Re: Firing human-less events and evars kanikas19907318 - Adobe Analytics
Hi,Since the analytics hits from your server (prior to product usage ) won't have cookie data, it won't connect to same visit and visitor.I believe you're trying to send same 'mid' value in server hit. If so, such hit should be a part of that visit and visitor because we look at the visitor ID and hit timestamp to credit them to respective visits. Its similar to offline hits you send with s.timestamp value.

Thanks Erica! In order to double check how this test case "Analytics - Instantiated once" works, I added 2 analytics code- one via App measurement and another via DTM on my web site. Auditor Report- Analytics Instantiated Once showing 0/failed for URL's which doesn't have analytics code kanikas19907318 - Auditor by Adobe
As per the definition for Analytics- Instantiated Once, its supposed to fire when analytics code is found more than once. Ref from: https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/auditor/test-ref-cfg.htmlHowever its showing 0/failed against the URL's which have no analytics code at all. Is it working as designed or needs a fix? If its is working as expected, can you help me understand why it would fail for above scenario?
