If I understand correctly, number of targeted profile attribute and experiences mapped to them are too many, and that is why you are not comfortable driving these variations with dedicated audience. If you are not building dedicated audience, you can create single qualifying audience and put the variation logic in the modal code itself. Bunch of IF ELSE blocks. But this will turn out to be a nightmare for you from a manageability standpoint. Second Option is to externalize the Modal Functionality...

@evolytics_brian Intent is to send data to two different set of reporting suites in two different org's. One currently in place, implemented via Launch is focused towards tracking experience on the web property only. There is another parent exp (lets called is Exp A), from which the user can navigate to this exp (lets called is Exp B). Exp A also uses AA (different ORG), and is implemented through Tealium. Intent is to follow the customer journey from Exp A to Exp B, in real time. This is where ...

I am trying to set up the IO runtime dev environment locally. Directions here state that I need to setup a ".wskprops"file with following details :AUTH=APIHOST=adobeioruntime.net NAMESPACE=What should be Auth variable set to ? I understand that this is basic authentication string.Should this be "CLIENT ID:CLIENT SECRET" ?I have tried that and when I try to verify "wsk list". Keep getting this :error: Unable to obtain the list of entities for namespace 'default': The supplied authentication is in...

What you are trying to run is the API jar, not the AEM standalone jar and that is why it is not executing. Download the standalone jarand that would run.

Katuk, you have mentioned google app engine, whereas question was about google cloud. I would be surprised if AEM cannot be hosted on AEM cloud as it wouldn't be any different from any other cloud service provider.Since google cloud is a relatively new player in the cloud business, it might not have been explored enough by Adobe to support it and that would be understandable.

AEM is restful in nature and if you are relying on HTTP SESSION, then you are breaking the restful nature of AEM. You'll also not able to cache anything that is HTTP SESSION dependent. So to use HTTP SESSION inside AEM is strongly NOT advisable.Having said that, just to resolve your issue. You are seeing new session each time coz of following directive in your global.jsp or it might also be in your component JSP's<%@page session="false"%>

6.2 deprecates client context and you should use context hub instead.

Your use case seem to be a fit case for using content fragments. They are created in dam and can be surfaced across multiple websites as needed.

Check the type of auth cookie. If it is https and secured then , cross domain, it won't be visible to client side scripts (js), but would be sever side.

So I am using etc map to shorten URL's and can get the short URL for a given path by -shortURLPath=resourceResolver.map(pageUrlPath);Now that I want to get the original URL back, I tried - resourceResolver.resolve(shortUrlPath); But this returns "NonExistingResource". I recall doing this on versions prior to 6.0 and used to work. But now it doesnt. Any idea, on how to reverse resolve a mapped path. (AEM 6.1)

2GB might not be enough. Try bumping it to 4GB and then try. I am pretty sure you'll be alright.

You can also mark the links as valid by using x-cq-linkchecker=“valid”property in your tag. In this case Link Checker will check the link but always mark as valid. If you also use x-cq-linkchecker=“skip”, Link checker will not check the link and mark as valid. After updating the code you would have to clear the linkchecker by deleting node /var/linkchecker from crx/de lite.

use a request scoped sling model and use that to get the selector and then use that on your sightly script.

This would work only if you are using xtype as datetime. That would store it as a Date and then you can retrieve it like you are trying.
