Re: component uneditable - Adobe Experience Manager 19-04-2016
Hello all, thanks for your replies. As recommended I looked in the Chrome inspector. The original component when clicked on to edit works fine, the copy component when clicked to edit generates the following error: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'events' of undefined in the widgets.js file. So I will investigate further but any help appreciated.

component uneditable - Adobe Experience Manager 18-04-2016
I have copied from an existing and working component in CQ5, the new component has had its title, description etc changed but all else is the same. It appears in the SideKick, can be dragged onto the page, yet unable to edit it. As a test I can still add the original component to the page and edit and publish successfully.I have been through all the settings in CRX and WCM all look correct, replicated, refreshed, stop started author/publisher, purged etc. And yet it is still uneditable. How can ...

CQ5 Side Kick page properties option unavailable - Adobe Experience Manager 22-10-2015
CQ5 Side Kick page properties option unavailable. Have only been working on the currents sites files and not the CQ core. Yet now whether from the sidekick or in the WCM I cannot select a pages properties option pop-up, other pop-up window options still work i.e. 'references...' , 'workflow...', 'move...' . I have checked user permissions, all correct. I get no error in the console when trying to access 'page proporties' from the CQ editor just a request to 'http://localhost:4502/libs/wcm/msm/co...

sidekick component not dragging into parsys - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
I have copied a component which works, it appears in the sidekick, I created a new parsys area, in this instance a right hand column, which is in turn included in a page. It all works. However the component I created which I renamed and changed values for i.e. title, description etc does not work. It appears as a component, but when I drag into the parsys, it shows a green tick icon, however when a drop the component down, instead of editable item icon, I get nothing. Clearly doing something wro...

Local site not reflecting updates in code changes? - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
Hello, new to CQ, so I may be missing something. Editing a .jsp files code in IDE (intellij), run author and publish, when I view the page in the AEM, the edit is apparent. However when I activate/publish this page the corresponding page on the local version in the browser does not show the update. I have done full refresh on the browser, opened in different browsers, but the edit is not reflected. Is there some default caching at work here, I have heard mention of 'dispatcher' is this what need...
