Re: I have a text field within a table cell that is cutting off the data jsanborn58 - Adobe LiveCycle
You can have a table cell grow dynamically, just like a text field. Select the cell and check "Expand to fit" for Height in the Layout tab.In the Object tab, you can check "Allow Multiple Lines". Also, check to see if there is a value for Max Chars next to "Limit Length". Uncheck "Limit Length" if you want. There are also some options under the Paragraph tab for dealing with indents and spacing when the text wraps to another line.

I have copied the javascript to Notepad, made some global replacements, and pasted the code back into LiveCycle. No problems here.

Re: Is there a possibility, that subforms flow up again to avoid big wide gaps in a document? jsanborn58 - Adobe LiveCycle
Try setting the height of the subform to a small size, like 0.1in, then check the "Expand to fit" box.

Re: How do I add a background image to a form? jsanborn58 - Adobe LiveCycle
Try adding an Image Field to your master page(s). You can either point the image field to a URL or embed it in the template. I do this to add a watermark.

It looks like you need to create a table, then retrieve the multiple rows of data.

Check the log tab in the Report window at the bottom of Designer. It will tell you if you have any syntax errors in your script.

Re: Calculation in Floating Field adds unwanted line feed jsanborn58 - Adobe LiveCycle
I have had assorted issues with floating fields, mainly with extra spaces being placed before and after a currency field. For example, I had an extra space between the floating field and punctuation that immediately followed. If you select the field type as "Numeric Field", then set the pattern to the following, it should help. Be sure to take out the spaces before and after the floating field, as you are adding them to the pattern. 30% or{DepositAmt}with this signed agreement as a deposit num{('...

In the Layout panel, try setting the height of subform Section A to 0, and check the "Expand to fit" box. This will allow the subform to grow as needed.

Re: Help, signatureValidate() function doesn't work on hidden fields jsanborn58 - Adobe LiveCycle
You might also consider setting the signature font to white (effectively invisible), then conditionally changing the font to another color. The field would not have to start out as hidden, then.

Re: When I create a field to expand, how do I make the text beneath that field move down the page so that it is not overlapping text? jsanborn58 - Adobe LiveCycle
Make sure that you allow the height of the text area and subform to expand. In the layout tab (Shift+F9), make sure the height is set to "expand to fit". You'll want to do this with your floating fields, as well.
