Removing access to Global, Shared folder contents Dave_Post - Adobe Campaign Standard
I don't know if anyone is still listening but I could not figure out the following: Optional exercise, Administration Student Lab Handbook, Pg. 9 As your partition user, go to the Deliveries folder in your partition and create a new Delivery. What Delivery templates are available? [Hint: You must use the folder icon twice to find all possible choices.] How could we modify the security configuration so that users only have access to Delivery templates in their partition?

CCMO Exercise 8, Part 3, Step 7&8 Dave_Post - Adobe Campaign Standard
Again I am behind the curve but I am wondering if anyone else got the following error. The question then is how do we give write permission to Campaign? I would assume this is an issue when Campaign writes an output to a server.

Re: Anyone else unhappy with the quiz at the end of Exercise 2 - Introduction to CCMO? Dave_Post - Adobe Campaign Standard
I apologize. I understand now understand better the purposes of the quizzes. In fact the questions and answers are quiet good and make me think and watch more closely what I am doing.

OK I see it now. Was that information in the instructional video? I also spent quite a bit of time searching the product docs and all of the course material I have and I did not find that answer. Can you point me to where any of the materials mention what Start and End time affect? I am not sure what Start and End dates does in terms of functionality since I believe you can still run campaigns after the End time specified if I remember reading correctly.

From the "New marketing campaign" window shown below I don't see a refresh option. When I clicked on OK with both Start and End dates selected prior to the current system date the Campaign accepted the dates and closed the window. Can I have another hint

Re: Exercise 2 > Part 3 > Step 2c Dave_Post - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hey Linda,The problem is that the step described in the lab does not have that option when I am first creating the campaign (which is what I am doing at that point in the lab:At least not that I can see. The window that you show above is after the campaign is created and you open it and go to the Edit tab. Please correct me if I am wrong. Cheers

Just so you know I did click on the Add to Calendar link but I never got any kind of invite. You might want to let one of the designers know.Cheers,Dave Post(925) 368-6332Adobe Systems Incorporated

Anyone else unhappy with the quiz at the end of Exercise 2 - Introduction to CCMO? Dave_Post - Adobe Campaign Standard
I found this quiz very unhelpful and frustrating. I thought the questions were poor and the answers even poorer. Anyone else have a reaction? By the way I passed, but I took it twice and 60% both times. I purposely changed answers the second time to try to get either a better or a worse score!?!?!?Also, unless we get feedback at another point on what the correct answers were then the exam does not provide any learning utility. I don't need to take a test just to take a test...I have taken more t...

Exercise 2 > Part 3 > Step 2c Dave_Post - Adobe Campaign Standard
On Page 11 of the CCMO lab book I found a step that I could not figure out how to do. The step is Exercise 2 > Part 3 > Step 2cI could not find away to assign a campaign to myself. Also, I do not believe that the video for this chapter mentioned this step. If I am wrong (and I probably am) can someone please tell me. Thanks,

Re: Scenario 1 - What's wrong with e-mail blasts? Dave_Post - Adobe Campaign Standard
This does not answer your question which is an important one. But as an aside in the direct mail marketing world there are obvious natural costs to a poor marketing strategy. In the physical world such poor marketing strategy as you describe would result in the company soon being out of business because there is a tangible cost per message. In the direct mail marketing world marketers have to be more sophisticated in their use modeling tools. Thus, in direct mail marketing the use of statistical...
