You must reader extend your form in Acrobat or using Livecycle Reader Extensions.

It sounds like there is a error in your code. Turn on the JavaScript debugger in Acrobat and it should give you the error.

This can be done with a floating field. Insert a floating field in your text and set the generated field to use a calculation script. Then set the calculation script to reference the form variable.

LiveCycle is event based, and generally will not re-layout a page until the event completes. Try putting your Subform12.presence = "visible"; code in the preSave event.

I tried what you told me, but unfortunately, it did not change the behavior of the form. I also checked a machine with Adobe Acrobat Pro 11.0.07 and the issue occurs there also.
