I have a form in LC though would like to add a map of a property and have some .jpgs layered over the top of it that can be movable by the client. Is this possible? If it is not with LC is there an Adobe product I could do this with?Any and all help is appreciated.Justin

Re: Adding days to a date - Adobe LiveCycle 23-08-2013
I just sent it back. I was having some issues getting it to work according to the docs and how I recommended. Here is the code I used to get it to work properly. I used the ISO and manipulated the date from there. var dateNumber = IsoDate2Num($) topmostSubform.Page1.GerminatorDate.rawValue = Num2Date(dateNumber + 21)

Hello,Make sure you are using FormCalc as both Date2Num and Num2Date are FormCalc functions and NOT js functions. Then use:newDateField = Num2Date(Date2Num(dateFieldWithDateNeedingToChange, "MM/DD/YYYY") + 21, "MM/DD/YYYY")Justin

Re: Password Protect Form Structure/Code - Adobe LiveCycle 15-04-2013
This is what I was looking for. I am actually just looking for a way to stop intercompany users from making changes really. Just in case they might get a wild idea and say "Oh lets put this over here and that over there" lol 🙂 I guess though, do you have a way of securing a PDF via encryption that can't be hacked? In other coding languages I can encrypt/decrypt using a 40 character password mixed with a salt that is pretty tough to get through but I'm not sure if Adobe has something that you ca...

Password Protect Form Structure/Code - Adobe LiveCycle 13-04-2013
Hello,I am looking for a way to password protect the code/structure of a form but leave everything else open/unsecure ie filling, printing, emailing, ect. Is there a way to do this with these versions of applications that anyone has found?Adobe Acro Pro X 10.1.6Adobe Livecycle designer ES2 9.0I don't want the user to see the protection when the form is opened in reader. I only want to see the protection or password message box if someone were to open the pdf in Livecycle Designer.I've tried pass...

Adobe Acro Pro X 10.1.6Adobe Livecycle designer ES2 9.0And no it still does not work. You are using a very dated version of both applications and thus they are giving different results. I'll just repost this to see if someone out there with updated applications has the fix.

Ok, again. This works....yes. This DOES NOT WORK though if you are extending the rights using Acro Pro as I have already mentioned. So AGAIN I need a way of achieving this. You repeating the steps in the fashion you have only assures me that you did not read the previous message.

Re: Password protect form structure - Adobe LiveCycle 12-04-2013
Ok I think I'm not being clear. I need a way to password protect a Reader Extended PDF so people can't open it with Livecycle ES2 and make changes. What you are telling me is accurate but after I follow your steps and then save the pdf with extended rights the password protection is gone so I can then open it just fine in Livecycle ES2.I appreciate your feedback but it won't work with a Reader Extended PDF.You would think there would be some code I could run that would check to see if it's livec...

Re: Password protect form structure - Adobe LiveCycle 12-04-2013
I only want it password protected if someone tries to make a change to it using livecycle though. Basically I need a way of password protecting the code/structure without the user being prompted for a password each time the form is opened using reader.
