I would like to create a segment for the previous 4 weeks, but that adjusts based upon my date selection and isn't tied to the current date like the screenshot of the Date Range setup below. So if I select the first week of December 2024, then it would return the 4 previous weeks in November. Is the...
Thanks for your response. I totally agree that doing this via Launch would be much easier, but I don't have the IT resources available to implement for me in the short-term, which is why I'm looking for the processing rules short cut. And the main reason I want to create this entry version of the di...
Like I said, I have a rule in my dev account now that says if my Page Type prop is set then run the rule to create the Page Name prop, so I'm testing if that will work, but I just wasn't sure if there was a more reliable way to set that up even if it did seem to work.
Hi Bjoern, Thanks for your response. Really my only objective is to create a prop using the value of the evar, but I want to ensure it's only being set on page views. I have to do this via processing rules (at least in the short-term) because I don't have the IT resources available right now to comp...
I have an evar for Page Name, but because I don't have a prop, I can't get Entry Page Name. Is there a best way to set up a processing rule to set the prop whenever the evar is set but only if its a page view? Right now, I have a rule that says if my Page Type prop is set then run the rule to create...
Well it appears I don't see None in Marketing Channel segmentation at all. So that could be an indicator of the problem as I'm trying to create segments based on None. But Adobe's consultants advised us to remove Direct as a channel and instead use None as "Direct" because apparently Direct screws u...
In my marketing channel reporting, I have the default channel labeled None (essentially everything that doesn't meet any of my processing rules). However, when I create a segment/filter on None, I don't get the None channel. I get literally nothing. How can I actually filter to None?
Thanks, this is helpful information but I still don't know if I have complete confirmation of my question. We are using a Most Recent Allocation, but that's what I wanted to clarify -- most recent before purchase (dogs) or most recent before the add to cart (cats) of the item that was eventually pur...
New to Adobe and still trying to understand how eVars persist and what that means for your metrics. Suppose I have the following scenario: Search for "cats"Add a cat item to my cartSearch for "dogs"Purchase the cat item Would my search term revenue be attributed to cats since I purchased an item as ...
