I have one user who constantly adds his updates to his initial request instead of the project. I would love for closing updates on the request to be an option!

THIS! How is this the only post I can find on this issue. I have a user who can't access the Project Updates, and so he constantly uses the Issues Updates (which he can access), and unless I remember to check those, I never see it!

I just came looking for this and found it's been requested time and again, with no apparent movement. Consider this another request for the ability to automatically tag everyone on a project in the updates.
