answer short is likely no, what you would like to do looks like something similar that you can do with assignments report VS assignments field on e.g. task report.But with custom field and on document I don't see how this could be achieved

I don't think such connector is available in WF Fusion, but please keep in mind that with HTTP requests you can virtually integrate WF with anything... just a matter of setting up the connection and writing the call
