The Planned Dates don't move because that is what was originally planned and if they moved you would never know wh...

  • Diana, As long as you are referring to people who are on the People tab under Staffing of the project you can do a Project Report and filter on either name, home team, or home group under the heading Project Users. This will pull all projects where that person or people are part of the "Project Team...

I agree with this and would add if people have the notification turned on, then everyone assigned a task gets notified when someone provides an update on the task. Another option is to have the same capability at the task level as "Update All" on the Staffing Tab for the whole project team.

  • Greg, I wanted to jump in here because I am not sure you can accurately accomplish what you are looking for using a task report. Unless you are looking only at how many planned hours on tasks that complete that month, regardless of when they started. Here is an example: Task A has 100 planned hours ...

  • Jennifer, Have you looked at the Task Constraint? In order for predecessors to work correctly to change the dates, the best Task Constraint is "As Soon As Possible". If the Task Constraint of a task is Must Start On, Must Finish On, or Fixed Dates, the predecessor will be ignored with respect to cha...

  • Jill, Did you try an Assignment Report or a Work Item Report that brings Project/Task/and Issues into one report? The only problem is you will still have separate columns for Issues versus Task information but it will be on one report. I hope this helps! David DAVID A. TAYLOR Founder & Managing Con...

  • Cliff, You are experiencing the one to many trap! When grouping on a field, that field needs be one to one...Workfront does not allow grouping a report on any multi-select field. If the field must be a multi-select then you have three options for reporting. Let's say there are 4 choices within your ...
