  • Thanks Narayan - I can already get it to work for the successor task name (or other standard fields) but not custom data. Not sure if it is a limitation of the fact I'm accessing a collection on a referenced object (Task) from an Assignment report. David Cornwell

  • Thanks Doug, but unfortunately that doesn't work for me. I wonder if @Melinda Layten has a lightning bolt of insight on how I can get at the custom data on a referenced collection of successors? David Cornwell

  • OK - I'm pretty sure that I've asked this before but I just can't find any notes on this. The following collection works fine on an assignment report to give me the name of the successors task/s. listdelimiter= listmethod=nested(task.successors).lists name=Successor Task shortview=false textmode=tr...

  • Hi Jordan, There is a way to combine the grouping rows which may work for you:Create a calculated field which concatenates the project name and the project status update field (or whatever field you like). Then, bulk edit the projects and choose to "Recalculate custom expressions" (near the end of t...

  • Hi Jordan, I'm not clear on what you mean by "share columns on a grouping"? A couple of questions:1. Forgetting about groupings, are your shared columns working for the two fields you want to see joined together on the report?2. What type of report is this? A task report?3. What object is this cust...

  • Hi, We have a use case as follows: We have a Workfront report which lists documents from varous projects. The report has a prompt for the customer number (of the project that the document is located in). We have another system outside Workfront where a set of users (salespeople) operate to look ...

  • Hi Philip, Not 100% sure if this is a cause, but what status is your project in? If it's still in Planning status (i.e. not Current) then workers will not see it in their calendars / My Work and generally don't get email notifications. Regards, David Cornwell

  • Hi Clement. In terms of the date format for the main web user interface, it is deterined by your browser language. You need to have either English (UK) or English (Australian) as the language at the top of the list of languages in your Chrome browser settings (assuming you're using Chrome). I recomm...

  • Hi Vicky, On the whole, no, I don't think I'd say we're experiencing those signifcant performance issues. The only case I consistently experience is if I'm copying/deleting a large number of tasks (1000-2000). Usually once it gets into that range I will end up with an red workfront error message (ga...
