  • This type of information would be great to capture. Carrying your idea further, moving that task/date would essentially create mini-Project Change Requests and raise awareness throughout management as to challenges that could be brewing. In general, this is my biggest problem with the way modern pla...

This would be helpful as we have many people with Tasks from Closed Projects showing up on their Timesheets. I guess this is in theory because they didn't mark that they were "Done with the Task" before the Project was Closed, but simply put we don't live in WF and never will so people don't plan t...

  • All: I have a somewhat similar problem to solve. We have an Issue Type of Change Request. Currently, we have to manually type in any budget changes as it relates to the project (Business Case Budget, Baselined Budget, Planned Budget, etc.) into our Change Request Custom Form on the Issue because whe...

  • In addition to the Issue Type of Change Request the others have mentioned, we also have a step in our Workflow that the Change gets assigned back to the PMO Director for the last step and they go create a new Baseline and make it the default. We have a lot of metrics that track Budgeted vs. Baseline...

  • Ed, I was actually just about to ask whether any of the people who use it as a Service Desk platform heavily adhere to the ITIL framework. I was going to ask as I cannot imagine being able to use WF to do so. As a PM, I have been leading a project for our firm to move to ServiceNow for IT Service Ma...

Frequently on a project, a key artifact for the team to review or to capture for historical or audit purposes could be a web page (internal or external). Examples of this could be capturing a link to a product feature or support page, Gartner research, or document management systems that can link t...

In addition, we have a custom form on our Documents that tracks certain information. I would love to get that on to this report and make it exportable as currently trying to export any of the information from Document reports just downloads those documents.

  • So, the problem I mentioned earlier in the thread was resolved by going into Setup>E-mail>Setup and flipping the option of Workfront Mail Server to My Mail Server (you have to enter bogus data there), saving the change, and then flipping back and saving again. Apparently it was a database issue on t...

  • If it has changed then it changed without our knowledge. Here was Workfront's response: "Since the roll-out last night, we are seeing a problem where the "from" address for emails coming from Workfront are not showing the "no-reply" address as they should. This is most likely causing the email s...
