Not sure if this will help you now but to stop this at our shop, we
created an intake team (1 or 2 people) that would manage the queue and
make assignments. Defeats the reason to have routing rules but you can
have different intake teams for the different queue topics and then
route to that team.
When adding a new task through the "WorkList" in the home area it would
be useful for our business case to be able to simply type a user name
and hit enter to input them into the box. The current functionality
requires that we hit the down arrow and then hit enter.
In the project view on the home page the tasks are sorted
alphabetically. Wouldn't it make more sense to sort the tasks with the
one that is due next at the top of the list? I work on many projects and
like to focus on one project at a time so sorting by commit date jumbles
all the tasks from multiple projects together. Anyone else work by
project like this? If so, please vote!
