"Sort" is a crucial component of effective visualizations. If I want to communicate which tasks take the most hours, the least effective sort criteria is alphabetical, which is the only option available. To sort the results of a bar chart by the mathematical sums of the hours would be ideal.

Correct. I can't send it to the sponsor. But, if I can send the already-formatted email to the Project Owner, they can just forward it to the right person. Ideally, I find a way to spare my PMs from having to craft the email...forwarding is the next best option.
