I realise it's not intuitive, but if the stage isn't locked you can click on 'decision' and de-select the choice you made. This then shows in the audit log (e.g. one entry saying you approved it at 2:00 pm, and another saying you revoked the decision at 4:43 pm).

I'd like to have a proof go to multiple 'first level' stages (Stage 1A, Stage 1B, Stage 1C), and only proceed to a 'second level' stage if Stages 1A, 1B AND 1C have all been 'approved' or 'approved with changes'. Currently, I can only refer to a single previous stage.

  • Dear Jazmin, Create a report that groups the projects (or issues) by status. Then convert the filter to Text mode, and change 'status' to 'statusEquatesWith' (The bottom text is for a project level report, with this as the only grouping. If you had other groupings or did this on issues the text woul...

I agree with the sentiment and have upvoted this. But I think the problem is with mixing agile and traditional methodologies, not with the WF implementation. How WF is currently working is technically correct from a process point of view.

  • I agree with Vic - I don't think there's a way to do it automatically, and I would happily argue for hours it should not be allowed. At the end of the day any PPM tool simply holds a model of what's happening in the real world (i.e. the project) and someone (the project manager) ultimately needs to ...

  • Dear Tracy, My apologies for the confusion. I didn't (and can't) create the field in the API - I found it in the API documentation: "https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/articles/220633507-API-Explorer/support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/articles/220633507-API-Explorer" https://support.workfront.com/hc...

  • Dear Jamie, The technique still remains. Only the status code changes. That is, to show tasks that are 'Complete - pending approval' Create a filter to show tasks where status=complete. Switch to text mode. You should see status=CPL status_Mod=in Append :A to the end of the status code statu...

  • I haven't forgotten this. Here's possibly more information than you ever wanted on dates. I created a report showing planned completion date and actual completion date. I then compared dateDiff with weekdayDiff and also added rounding on both of those and for good measure, included a field in the AP...

  • Dear Jamie, You can explicitly filter for approval pending statuses by converting to text mode and appending :A to the end of the status code. So if you have approval pending to go to Current, use the standard interface to filter on Status = Current Then switch to text mode: status=CUR status_Mod=in...
