My feedback on the timesheet in Preview is that the "name" column is too
wide. We only show one week at at time on the timesheet so there is a
lot of white space between the name and the hour entry columns. It
results in unnecessary horizontal scrolling to see the full week to
enter hours. The shading on the weekend days could be darker so that is
easier to see the difference between the weekdays.
I do something similar that might work for you. It looks for the
Copywriter Job Role ID and then lists the names of the assigned
copywriters. You would just need to replace the ID with the role ID you
want to display. Here's the code: displayname=Copywriter
Hi Jill, We use Planned Start Date on our projects but we are seeing the
same thing. The time defaults to NOW when we create a project from a
template instead of the start of our workday which is 8:00 am. I don't
know when this started happening but it was relatively recently and it
is a big annoyance to our project managers.
Our project managers are struggling with the 21.4 update that changed
the default scheduling tool to the Workload Balancer. They aren't able
to bulk assign resources to tasks in a project like they can using the
Action menu in the Scheduling tool. Unless there is a way to do this in
the Workload Balance that I'm not seeing, the Workload Balancer isn't
ready to be the default.
Hi Anna, Number of Tasks, Duration, Planned Hours, and Owner vary by
template but are not enough to distinguish differences between the
templates in order to select one. Key information that would be helpful
to select a template is being able to see if the template includes
specific task trees (e.g. does the template have Location Photography
tasks, or Studio Photography, does it include Premedia, or Printing?),
if these were shown under "Top Level Tasks" , that would be great but I
only see the...
I like where you are going with the template preview but it is
disappointing in the current iteration. The information shown in the
preview does not distinguish one template from another in our use case.
(Our templates all have the same top level task and the same custom
forms attached). It would be more useful to have a description field or
be customizable. Thanks,Nancy
