After testing, I confirm that ABAC doesn't apply to CJA. Governance policies has some out of the box labels that apply for CJA: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics-platform/using/cja-dataviews/data-governance.html?lang=en 

Hi there, When creating a Connection on CJA, enabling backfill of data for my dataset, after processing the backfill I get a backfill status "backfills failed". Is it possible to get an error diagnostic for the failure? What could cause a backfill to fail?  Thanks in advance, Liz

That would be a great improvement, and would tremendously help organization in maintaining some hygiene in Adobe Analytics. I would love to see that being developed!
