Hi Asutosh,I did not do any fresh install of the Author. It started to work after some kind of maintenance work was done by the DB team this weekend. It is not clear what was done.Thank you for all the help. I learnt a lot from troubleshooting AEM from this discussion.Thanks,Leena

We have this new information that the Author instance is currently using Oracle DB repository and not the default TARMK file system repository. I may be wrong, but I think that this old backup is from the initial Author...
