@hamidk92094312 , Here are the options available when you are browsing
folders in AEM Assets, with "List View (all items)" being one of them:
These options are NOT available when you are scrolling through search
results nor when you are browsing collections. The only options are to
toggle between list view and card view. I am asking that the same
options that are available for folder browsing be made available for
collections browsing AND search results.
@hamidk92094312 , Thank you for your response. Yes, the “From:” address
is configured to the address you see the email coming from in my
screenshot - it's the "email@example.com" generic address. We
need to address the issue of the body of the email providing NO
information as to the sender of the download or what the ZIP file
contains, since it just says “You are invited to download ”.
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: "List View (all items)"
option is available when browsing folders. However, it's missing when
looking at the search results and when browsing a collection. Adding
this option would eliminate scrolling through lazy load in order to
select all. Use-case: Sometimes bulk changes / downloads need to be done
to all items in a collection. Inability to list all assets in a
collection forces user to endlessly scroll through lazy load in order to
select all a...
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Adobe AEM Assets allows
user to email the download to another user. The email creates a link to
a zip file, sends it from a no-reply address and looks suspicious, like
a security breach. No sender information is included in the email. Here
are the steps to reproduce: Select 1 or more Assets Click “Download” In
the Download dialog, choose “Email” and enter the user’s email address
AEM will generate a ZIP file of the asset(s) and email the user.
Hi @hamidk92094312 , I was wondering if you have any additional feedback
on my comment above. Sorry I didn't tag you when I originally responded.
Is there any hope for card view to become an even grid?
Our users find this column very confusing as well. Status column does
not refer to dam:status, it is really “Expiry Status”. We were thinking
to change the column name: overlay this node and change the title to
The assets are too small in List or Column view to select correctly from
search results. We are a large supermarket, and carry 50,000+ products,
each product having 10 images. We put custom metadata on a card to aid
in asset selection (such as UPC and weight/size of product), which is
not visible in List or Column view. So Card view is absolutely essential
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary :Currently, Card view in
AEM Assets is staggered. Metadata displayed on the card as well as the
asset's format can push assets below it down, and the rows are not even.
The staggered view is hard on the eyes, when trying to pick the right
asset. When we scroll down to view more images, the pages redraws and
assets keep moving around. This has been very frustrating to our users
and this is the most common enhancement request from our users. Our
