Good afternoon, I am including multiple offers in a delivery without using the offer engine (i.e. adding the offers to workflow during targeting and then including components of the offer in the delivery.) My question is, is there a way to only include a current offer (one whose start and end date have not expired) in the delivery? It appears that the delivery only takes the start and end date into account if using the offer engine, is this correct? If so, is there another way to include multipl...

Hello @Manoj_Kumar_ , I tried this as well. While it does limit the field to a maximum of 5 characters and removes non-numeric characters, the error that is generated is not user friendly (it errors out on submission rather than performing validation) and it also does not limit less than 5 characters. I will make this change if there is no other solution but this does not seem best practices from a UX perspective. Thanks.

Hey @Darren_Bowers, Do you have any examples that have worked for you? I've already tried this using examples similar to your hyperlink (https://codepen.io/martenc/pen/gbMpgj) as well as managing within the input field (i.e. pattern="\d{5,5}(-\d{4,4})?") and it appears that the web form either doesn't honor settings or breaks the script.

Hello @Manoj_Kumar_, Also, i'm not sure of the HTML standards to which the web form activities subscribe. Can you tell me if this could be included in the web form source? https://codepen.io/martenc/pen/gbMpgj

Hello @Manoj_Kumar_, Can you please provide additional direction on this? I tried this in both the input tag and the form properties and it does not seem to work. I can still enter non numeric characters and there appears to be no regulation to >4 and <5 characters.

@Manoj_Kumar_ If i change the data type in the schema will that generate an error when the form is submitted? My understanding was that the data would simply not write to the field. Also, on the length ="5", i assume you are suggesting that be added to the input field in the HTML of the form activity, correct?

Is there a best practices way to do form field validation in ACC? I would like to limit a zip code form field to 5 numeric characters and throwing an error message if the requirements are not met. I've considered handling this via a split activity or JS but wasn't sure if there is a way to validate in the form activity itself. Any insight would be appreciated.

I am trying to define a variable (or query def) in a JS alert and then call the variable or item in an alert activity. I am aware of the current stock method using: <% var itemsXML = new XML(vars.itemsXMLString)for each (var item in itemsXML){%> However, i don't want to call every instance of the particular field / node. I have some fields i want to output into a table and some where i only want a single instance of the field. Below is my current setup: JS Activity -- For the nodes "Web Registat...

Thanks @DavidKangni. This worked On a related note, do you know how i would go about only pulling a single instance of an item into an alert output? I am using the standard JS conventions below and then referencing them in the alert. But since i am using <% var itemsXML = new XML(vars.itemsXMLString) for each (var item in itemsXML) { %> it is pulling in every single row. Is there any way for a specific node / item to only pull a single row? Do i need to define that as a seperate variable? var qu...

Hello @Manoj_Kumar_, I had tried the before without success. Below is my updated code. The data flows through the workflow appropriately but then when i attempt to reference the item in the alert activity (<%= formatDate(item.CreationDate, "%A %D %B %4Y") %>) it appears blank. Is there a change that needs to be made in the alert activity? var query = xtk.queryDef.create ()var itemsXML = query.ExecuteQuery();vars.itemsXMLString = itemsXML.toXMLString()

I have a technical workflow that captures fields from the technical workflow and writes them to an alert activity. The code (below) is working correctly but the output is not sorting by date even through the temporary work table is properly sorted. Can someone advise the best way to sort the item <%= formatDate(item.CreationDate, "%A %D %B %4Y") %> JS Activity:var query = xtk.queryDef.create ()var itemsXML = query.ExecuteQuery();vars.itemsXMLString = itemsXML.toXMLString() Alert item: <% var ite...

I have a workflow that is grouped by a numeric indicator (Sponsor External ID) and zip code. I then count the customers by zip code and display in relation to the total customers associated with the indicator. My next step, which is tripping me up, is that i'm trying to sort descending by count of customers (count of CONTACT_ID) and then calculate a rolling percentage so that any zip codes that fall after 85% of the total are removed (i.e. i'm trying to capture the zip codes that have the most c...

This worked, thank you! I also had to change the offer start date field (non local variable) to DateOnly so that it the time stamps would match. This allowed me to say vars/startDate = @startDate

I am trying to build a report that shows information from our offer schema (label, start date, end date, HTML Rendering, etc.) based on use input of offer name and date. I.e. user enters the offer name or start and end date and they are able to see the offer information. I am defining local variables and then using the query to filter by the defined variables. Searching by offer label works fine but start or end date throws the following error. ORA-210000 Oracle error: ORA-00932: inconsistent da...

Thank you for the response. I had already defined the variables and have fields in the page writing to the variables. I am struggling with the JS piece within the page to then define the table based on the form response. Is there a place within the list to call the variable or are you suggesting updating the JS on the code tab of the Web App?if( (ctx.vars.OfferLabel == undefined || NL.String.trim(ctx.vars.OfferLabel.toString()).length == 0) ){// The context is empty for this non hidden input => ...

I am trying to allow a user to define a local variable in a web form and then pass that variable (offer label, start date, end date) into a table (list with group) in order to filter the table by the variable. It seems like this should exist in the UI but i can't find a way to align the table fields with the variables. Does anyone know a way to accomplish this either in the web form interface or via JS?

I'm hoping someone can help me understand how delivery indicators are calculated. When i look at the estimation of the number of recipients who have opened the emails ([indicators/@estimatedRecipientOpen]) i see a number that is different my individual count when i sum the individual recipients who have opened the email. I'm not sure if this is due to recipients opened the email on multiple days or on multiple devices but i'm trying to figure out the exact criteria that defines a unique open and...
