THANK YOU SO MUCH! I was able to write a record to the recipients table. I'll pass this info to the web devs. Edit: found the field names. 🙂

Got it. I've now connected to the marketing instance and have a session token. I assume the next step is xtk:write, and that I would need to specify the @email field from recipients? Is it that simple?

Since you know, please answer one more question for me. I am also working on using the Campaign API to insert new recipients from my website (newsletter subscribers.) I assume the same session token and logon is required on the campaign server, but I'll need other methods to write the data. Do you have examples of how to achieve this? Scenario: User enters email address on web form. (godaddy hosted) Web form inserts new recipient into campaign Workflow sends them a welcome email. note: I have al...

ok. I just tried adding the following BEFORE the sessiontoken and and it seems I'm getting closer. Now I'm seeing the following result: SOAP-ENV:ClientSOP-330010 The XML SOAP message is invalid (service 'PushEvent', method 'nms:rtEvent').(4:25) : Expected an attribute nameXML-110018 Error while parsing XML string.. Is this a good sign?

Do you have an example of how to form step 1? Is it the same as step 1 but with the xtk:session#Logon somehow replacing the sessiontoken?

Hi, I'm VERY new to APIs. The part I'm not sure about is where to use xtk:session#Logon. Does it go inside the before or after the user/pass? I'm pretty sure that would be before the domevent, right? Any way you can post a full example or steps? I have this so far.user/pass

Hello, Thanks in advance for your help. I've been using Campaign classic for 1 year for regular email but have never used Message Center. I would like to use message center to send a real time "Thank you" email on our website. Is this possible? (User enters email address on a form and instantly receives an email with special instructions.) I'm following the help article but cannot create the session token or get the mc credentials to work. I also don't know when to use the rt server vs the regul...

Hello, it's been some time but I wanted to provide an update. Shortly after this post I had some help from a consultant who identified there was a problem with the columns selected for output. I chose columns on a link instead of the recipient. I also had a large split using data from a linked schema. One solution was to add some indexes. I haven't had the trouble again.

Howdy! I'm having a similar issue, except my problem happens with direct mail. The workflow completes and I'm able to retrieve my csv file because I have checked the delivery property option "Enable file to be downloaded locally". My issue is I cannot find the in the sftp. I have tried the extraction filename as follows: format 1:/usr/local/neolane/nl6/var/instanceName/export/TEST_DM.csv format 2:/sftp/instanceServerName/export/TEST_DM.csv Note: I can read data from the sftp in (data loading fil...

Hi, I'm on V7 and I'm having a similar issue... My GPG is not working at all though... While I'm trying to troubleshoot, I noticed one of the files "In process" in the File history of the File Mapping. Has anyone figured out how to stop this?

There is no approve button, but I really think it was an error caused by me removing the approval feature from the workflow. I have now rebuilt the workflow in the same way and no longer see this problem. I have stopped this workflow and will delete it. Thanks for your time.

No error at all. The last message is "Analysis successfully completed" (BTW. I'm new to Campaign so I may be missing a simple step.).)

Hello, I've created a workflow with a direct mail delivery. I disabled approvals for this workflow, though other workflows in the campaign previously used approvals. I executed the workflow only to see the direct mail extract "flashing" for hours now. (The extract is only 1,000 people.) The journal shows the last activity as "deliveryPaper" Action 'Prepare' performed on delivery... Any idea why my extract file is not being created?
