Hi, I have created a PDF document through LiveCycle which will be sent out to external companies to obtain their company details. I have an e-mail button at the end of my PDF which sends me an XML file I am then importing this file to Microsoft access 2007. The trouble is I have many small tables in my PDF that when I import the information to access its putting these tables and other subform pages as separate tables. Is there a way I can tell my PDF/XML file to put all the information into my ma...

Hi jasotastic81I have tried your suggestion and its still not working, the current formula i have my pick list is: switch(this.boundItem(xfa.event.newText)){ case"TXS": Subform1.presence="visible"; break; default: Subform1.presence="hidden"; break;}This is something our IT department helped me with but unfortunately none of them have any idea how to use Livecycle so this is certainly a 'teach yourself' internal program. I set the subform object to flowed and added a few extra fields below the su...

I wonder if someone might be able to assist me with subforms within Adobe LiveCycle designer? My scenario:I am in the process of developing a new PDF document this is the first time i have used subforms which contain additional details. I have a pick list box which i have added some script to that says when a particular value is selected open subform however if its not a certain value keep the subform invisible.for example:If someone selects the code TXS it will open the subformIf someone selects...

Hi Kyle Thank you for this I have given this a go and it seems to do the job but what I need to do now is put something in place to say that when someone selects ‘Yes’ to a certain question it then opens the hidden sub form and asks them further questions, it will then need to take them back to the original questions once they have completed those in the sub form. At a guess I think I need to write something into the script but I wondered if you might know of an easier way? Many ThanksAmy

I am currently looking to see if anyone knows how and if it is possible to create expanding questions in Adobe LiveCycle. What I would like to do is have a set of hidden questions in my form which will open of someone answers a particular question in a particular way. For example if the question was "do you have a cat" yes or no, if yes was selected it would open several questions about their cat if no was select it would keep the questions hidden.I've looked at everything possible to see if thi...
