  • Try this link. Paul even included a very helpful PDF that shows different ways of handling email submit buttons and also getting custom subject lines added. If you open the PDF in Livecycle you can look at the click events for each and see the scripts Paul is using. http://forums.adobe.com/thread/46...

  • Yes that is possible. What you need to do is contain all of the text and the text fields in a subform that is set to Flowed. As the text field grows it will move the other elements contained inside that subform down. If an element is placed outside of that subform it will not move down. You must con...

  • If the form was made in Livecycle you cannot extract pages. XFA forms do not allow that. Any changes to the page layout must be done in Livecycle only. AcroForms or forms made in Acrobat are not subject to this, but I am not aware that one can extract, replace, delete or otherwise change the page la...

  • Sorry about being vague, but those options are in Livecycle: not Adobe Pro. You need to open the PDF in Livecycle, see if you hav embedded the fonts and uncheck it. If it is checked and you are using standard fonts, that can be a big reason on the large file size. And you cannot optimize XFA forms m...

  • That sounds good. I run into some times people using odd fonts that have to be embedded for them to display properly on their machines. However if the fonts are the standard ones then all machines can render them correctly and there is no need to embed both in the form. In Livecycle go to File-Form ...

  • Not quite sure what your validation is, but I prefer to use the Action Builder. I just set a condition of a field "is not" and then in the result section use "Set Focus" to and select whatever field you want. Depnding on the type of field (text field, numeric or date) you get a different set of vali...

  • This might help. Just copy-paste the code Radzmar lists in the linked page on a button with a click event. Should work. http://forums.adobe.com/message/4653343

  • I do not believe that in Livecycle forms you can extract forms. When you open the form in Acrobat/Reader it will tell you that is not an option. My suggestion might be to optimize your form to decrease the size if that is the sole reason for removing pages. I had a similar problem when I made my PDF...

  • Acrobat Forms are create for creating quick and easy forms and if you happen to know Javascript, allows you to create custom actions like showing/hiding fields or pages. Livecycle is a bit of a more robust form creation app that perhaps is not as simple as Acrobat, but provides a much more advanced ...
